Give summer an epic, dino-mite send-off!
To celebrate the last week of summer holidays, the wildly popular Ranger Dan and the Roar Roar Dinosaur crew are thundering back into Dublin Zoo! They’re ready to bring our prehistoric pals to life like never before in their incredible, interactive family show.
Prepare for a day of non-stop dino-action! Your little explorers can:
- Meet and Greet a Dinosaur: Get hands-on at the interactive ‘Dinosaur Petting Zoo’ with adorable baby dinos.
- Become a Palaeontologist: Unleash your creativity and make your very own fossil out of clay!
- Watch Out for Roaming Raptors! Keep your eyes peeled for amazingly life-like dinosaurs roaming the Zoo grounds with their expert handlers. It’s the perfect photo opportunity!

- Zoorassic Trail: Come face-to-face with over 40 life-sized dinosaurs before they disappear…
- Explore and discover the wonders of the animal kingdom in the wild heart of Dublin with over 400 amazing animals from around the globe.
This thrilling weekend marks the last ROAR-some celebration before school starts back! It’s the perfect, dino-packed adventure to end the school holidays on a high note before Zoorassic Trail goes extinct in September.
Event Details:
- Dates: Friday 22nd August – Sunday 24th August 2025
- Time: Activities will run between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM daily.
- Locations: At the Great Lawn and Haughton House
- Price: All ‘Roar Roar Dinosaur’ activities are included with your standard Dublin Zoo ticket or annual pass.
This special event is expected to be extremely popular. To avoid disappointment and to secure your spot for summer’s last great adventure, we strongly recommend booking your entry online in advance!
