Pre-school Learning
The early years are an important stage in children’s lives when they find out about and make sense of their surroundings by interacting with others. Dublin Zoo now offers four pre-school programmes: Wonderful Wildlife, Dinosaur Explorer, Farmtastic Food and Winter Woolies
Primary School Learning
The Discovery and Learning Department at Dublin Zoo has an exciting range of SFI Curious Minds accredited programmes for primary schools. Designed to tie in with the SESE curriculum, our unique sessions give students from junior infants to sixth class a greater appreciation for native and worldwide wildlife.
Secondary School Learning
Spanning topics from evolution to sustainability to ecology, the Dublin Zoo secondary school programmes offer a wide range of topics suited to the national curriculum. Get your class out and about in the zoo for some interactive and novel learning experiences.
QQI and Third Level Learning
The Discovery and Learning Team can provide tailor-made modules to suit the needs of any student. We cover topics such from animal behaviour and management to conservation and biodiversity to taxonomy and evolution. We also offer a state-of-the-art lecture theatre which can host up to 120 students.
