Annual Passes

We are extremely grateful for your continued patience and understanding as we, like many others, are navigating challenges on a scale never experienced before.

Ensuring continuity of world-class animal care is the priority for Dublin Zoo and with so many fixed costs in place, from animal feed to heating their houses, your support now and in the future is more important than ever.

Dublin Zoo would like to offer all annual pass holders who had a valid pass on 22nd October 2020 and are within Dublin or 20km of Dublin Zoo an extension of their annual pass, reflective of the period of time Dublin Zoo is closed.* This extension will be automatically added to your annual pass.

*Subject to terms and conditions.

i.e. If you live within 20km of Dublin Zoo, your pass will be extended on the 26th of April, if you live further than 20km from Dublin Zoo your pass extension will be postponed until the date travel restrictions permit you to visit Dublin Zoo.

Annual Pass Allocation

We’re so grateful to our wonderful annual pass holders and can’t wait to welcome you all back to Dublin Zoo! We really want everyone to be able to enjoy a visit, but we need your help. As animal, staff and visitor safety is paramount at Dublin Zoo we’ve had to significantly reduce our capacity to ensure that public health guidance can always be adhered to.

During September and October 2020, every day almost 250 annual pass holders did not show up for their booked slot. As a result, these tickets went unused when other annual pass holders could have been accommodated.

We’re asking that you please only pre-book for days that you’re sure you’ll be able to attend and please be mindful that unused tickets are wasted tickets. We understand it can be difficult to plan ahead and things unexpectedly come up, but if we all take a little extra care when booking, everyone will have an equal chance to visit!

We’re 100% committed to keeping you safe and making the Outdoor Safari Trail the best it can be, thanks to your super feedback! While things may still not be what we’re used to, together we can make sure a visit to Dublin Zoo is as wonderful as possible!
