  • Do annual pass holders need to pre-book a visit to Dublin Zoo?

    As per Government guidelines, Dublin Zoo is now open at normal capacity and we are delighted to announce that annual pass holders no longer need to pre-book their visit to Dublin Zoo.

  • How do I purchase an annual pass?

  • What age do you need to be to own an annual pass?

    Card-holders must be 18 or over.

  • How do I purchase an annual pass with a gift card?

    Please email [email protected] with your contact details and a member of the team will contact you to get you signed up using your gift card.

  • How do I receive my annual pass cards?

    If you purchase an annual pass online, you will be able to get your photo taken for your card and collect it at the annual pass hatch on the day of your visit.

    Please note that only the person named on the membership may pick up and use the card.

  • If I visit Dublin Zoo today, can I purchase an annual pass at the gate?

    Yes, but it is faster to sign up online and collect your annual pass at the gate.

    If you purchase an annual pass online, you will be able to get your photo taken for your card and collect it at the annual pass hatch on the day of your visit.

    Please note that only the person named on the membership may pick up and use the card.

  • If I book a ticket online and then decide to take out an annual pass, can I get a refund for my tickets?

    You can use the receipt from your day entry ticket or the reference code from your online day ticket to upgrade to an annual pass. This must be done on the day of your visit.

    The maximum that can be offset against a Family Annual Pass is €77 and the maximum off an Individual Annual Pass is €48.

  • What date does my annual pass start from?

    Your annual pass will be valid from the day of purchase for one year.

  • Can I purchase an annual pass as a gift?

    We advise that you purchase a gift card in the amount of an annual pass. This will allow the person to set up their annual pass at any time.

    To purchase an annual pass with a gift card, please email [email protected] with your contact details and a member of the team will contact you to get you signed up using your gift card.

    Please note that an annual pass is valid for 12 months from the date the annual pass is activated.

  • How do I get my photo on my annual pass?

    If you purchase an annual pass online, you will be able to get your photo taken for your card and collect it at the annual pass hatch by the front gate on the day of your visit.

    Please note that only the person named on the membership may pick up and use the card.

  • I’ve lost my card, what do I do?

    Replacement cards can be requested at the annual pass hatch at the front gate of Dublin Zoo.

    This request can only be made by the membership holder. 

  • I want to renew but don’t remember my annual pass code, what do I do?

    Please email [email protected] with your details and a member of the team will contact you with your annual pass details.

  • How can I change the details of my annual pass membership?

    Please email [email protected] with your request and annual pass membership.

  • How do I know when my annual pass is up for renewal?

    You can now check to see when your annual pass is up for renewal here. 

  • I've emailed to renew/purchase an annual pass, but I have not heard back.

    Since Dublin Zoo reopened its doors in June 2020, we’ve had more interest in our annual passes than ever before. Along with adding significant resources to our annual pass team to manage the unprecedented demand, we are now delighted to announce that we are launching a new online portal that you can use to purchase and renew your annual pass!

Annual Pass Benefits 

Admission to Dublin Zoo for 12 months.

  • Admission to Dublin Zoo one hour before closing.

Admission to Fota Wildlife Park in Cork for 12 months.

Admission to select UK zoos during the 12 months- Edinburgh Zoo, Highland Wildlife Park, Colchester ZooTwycross Zoo, Paignton Zoo and Newquay Zoo.

DISCOUNTS on Wild Lights, selected events, summer camps and educational programmes.

Card-holders must be 18 or over.

Family Pass

The Family Pass is €215 and allows you enter Dublin Zoo with one of the following combinations:

Pass holder + 3 Adults

Pass holder + 2 Adults + 2 Children

Pass holder + 1 Adult + 4 Children

Pass holder + 6 Children

Children must be under 16 years

The Individual Pass is €155 and allows you enter Dublin Zoo with one of the following combinations
