Dublin Zoo has been made aware of fraudulent scam promotions circulating online, including campaigns advertising “free school kits” and free Dublin Zoo tickets.

Dublin Zoo has identified a sophisticated clone website operating under the domain dublinzoo.net. This website is not affiliated with Dublin Zoo and operates a fake booking engine designed to harvest payment card details.

Steps If You Have Shared Card Details
  1. Call Your Bank / Card Issuer: Notify their emergency fraud team immediately to block unauthorised charges and reissue your card.

  2. Report the Source: Report the scam profile, sponsored ad, or link directly to the social media platform where you encountered it.

  3. Consumer Guidance: For independent consumer advice and reporting on online fraud, visit the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission at www.ccpc.ie.
