From family favourites and hot meals to coffee stops and grab-and-go treats, there’s something for everyone to enjoy during your visit! We also have many water refill stations and vending machines located throughout the Zoo, making it easy to stay refreshed as you explore.

Enjoy a relaxing break with a range of hot meals, snacks and refreshments in our main restaurant area. Located near the entrance, Meerkat Restaurant is the perfect spot to recharge before or after exploring the Zoo.

Take a break at Nakuru Café, located in the African Plains, and enjoy a selection of coffees, drinks, snacks and treats. A great stop while exploring this area of the Zoo. Opening times subject to change.

Feeling hungry after exploring the Zoo? Stop by Mad Egg for a tasty selection of crispy chicken burgers, tenders, sides and more. It’s the perfect place to recharge and enjoy a satisfying meal during your wild day out. Located at sea lion cove. Opening times subject to change.

Enjoy a hot, handmade Italian sourdough pizza slice while exploring Dublin Zoo. Located near the Okapi habitat in the African Plains, the Okapi Hut offers visitors a convenient spot to pick up refreshments and tasty treats while exploring.

Toilets & Baby Changing
Toilets and baby changing facilities are located throughout Dublin Zoo for your convenience, with the largest facilities situated near the entrance and key visitor areas.
Baby feeding and changing facilities are also available near the Meerkat Restaurant, making it easy for families to take a break when needed.

Accessibility & Changing Places
Dublin Zoo is committed to providing an accessible and enjoyable visit for everyone. Accessible toilets are available throughout the Zoo, along with wheelchair-friendly pathways across most of the site.
A fully equipped Changing Places facility is also available for visitors who require additional support, helping ensure a more comfortable experience for guests with complex needs and their carers.
Wheelchair hire and mobility scooter rental are available at the main entrance, subject to availability.

Luggage Storage
Luggage storage lockers are available at the Zoo entrance, allowing you to explore hands-free and enjoy your visit comfortably. A small fee of €5 applies, and lockers are accessible using a provided key.
We recommend using the lockers for larger bags, as this makes moving around the Zoo easier, especially on busy days.
Zoovenir Shops
Take a piece of your Zoo adventure home with you from one of our Zoovenir Shops.
Located at the main entrance and near Nakuru Café in the African Plains, our shops offer a wide range of gifts, toys, souvenirs and keepsakes for all ages.
