This statement applies to content on https://www.dublinzoo.ie/ (“the website”).

Our Commitment

Dublin Zoo is committed to making our website accessible and usable for everyone. This website is designed to comply with the technical standard for websites and mobile apps, EN 301 549 v.3.2.1. This closely follows level ‘AA’ of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2.

Content not within scope of the legislation

The following content is exempt:

  • PDFs published before 23 September 2018.
  • Third-party components where we have no control over the underlying code, including our cookie consent manager (OneTrust), reCAPTCHA, Digitickets, and other third-party plugins.
  • Contrast issues flagged during automated testing relate to animations and have been identified as false positives. These do not represent genuine accessibility failures and no action is required.

  • We conduct accessibility audits every year and test key pages after major releases.
