School Visits
Dublin Zoo is a living classroom with over 70 species of animals, making it the perfect place to learn about nature and wildlife.
Pre-school, primary and secondary classes are catered for with a number of different curriculum-linked programmes.
Standard Group Visit
- Free entry for group organiser and coach driver*
- Free familiarisation visit for group organiser*
- One €5 voucher for the coach driver to be used in Meerkat restaurant or the Dublin Zoo gift shop**
- Fast track entry and restaurant bookings available
* Valid only for bona fide group organisers and drivers with a qualifying number of visitors. Proof of identity may be required.
** Available at entrance gate. Proof of identity required.
Guided tours & Educational talks for groups
We offer guided tours for groups of 10 or more visitors:
- Tours are subject to availability and we recommend booking 3-4 weeks in advance of your visit
- Tours are approximately one hour in duration
- Most tours are centred on our animals but we can also offer tours on: The History of Dublin Zoo, Conservation and Endangered Species, The Role of the Modern Zoo
