Engineers Week 2020 | The Giraffe Habitat Challenge
CALLING ALL BUDDING ENGINEERS!
To celebrate Engineers Week 2020, Dublin Zoo is calling upon your school class to participate in ‘The Giraffe Habitat Challenge’. This innovative competition tasks budding young engineers to try their hand at creating a new giraffe habitat.
To enter, teachers will sign up their students to a one-day programme at Dublin Zoo where they will learn from a team of experts including zookeepers, engineers and sustainability experts before setting on their challenge to design a new giraffe habitat.
The Giraffe Habitat Challenge takes place from Monday 2nd to Friday 6th March in Dublin Zoo. The programme has been specifically designed for secondary school students.
The winner will receive a VIP class package to Dublin Zoo with the lead teacher winning a Family Day Pass to Dublin Zoo.
