School Tours

Whether booking one of our curriculum-linked workshops or coming on a self-guided visit at your own pace, Dublin Zoo is the perfect destination for your class’s school tour.

School Tour Workshops

To enhance your class’s educational experience, we have a range of curriculum-linked primary programmes from infants to sixth class for just €0.50 extra per child. Together with our Dublin Zoo educators, children can become African or Asian Adventurers, Rainforest Rangers or Dinosaur Detectives as they learn about wildlife and conservation in a fun and interactive way.

Our workshops range in duration from 50 mins to 1 hour. This will leave you plenty of time to visit the other animals and our all new Zoorassic Trail during the rest of your visit.

Educational resources are provided with every workshop booking to enhance your wildlife learning before and after your visit.

Self-guided visits

If you prefer not to book a workshop, a self-guided visit is the best option for you. At your own pace, you can visit the African Plains, the Kaziranga Trail and the Himalayan Hills and see all of the amazing animals that live at Dublin Zoo. There are also plenty of indoor facilities to explore such as the Nocturnal House, the Discovery Centre and Zoorassic World.
