From an exclusive early morning elephant date to playful animal matchmaking, Dublin Zoo is offering two unique ways to celebrate Valentine’s weekend – one for all visitors, and one just for a limited number of couples (aged 16+).
For those seeking a unique way to woo at the Zoo, the Tonnes of Love Couple Experience offers couples an exclusive early-morning visit together with an intimate Asian elephant keeper talk, a romantic buffet breakfast and full-day Zoo entry.
This opportunity is available to a limited number of couples aged 16+ on the mornings of the 14th and 15th February and tickets of €85 per couple must be pre-booked.

At the heart of the celebrations for all Zoo visitors is the Wild Hearts Trail, a playful “Swipe Right Safari” inspired by dating app profiles. Visitors can follow a pop-up trail around the Zoo and discover their animal match through charming profiles highlighting the unique traits of species from across the animal kingdom. It’s a light-hearted way to explore the Zoo whether you’re visiting solo, with friends or as a family.
