African Plains closes at 4.30pm. Last admission is 4pm.
* Occasionally, due to circumstances outside of our control, Dublin Zoo may be forced to close to the public, e.g. extreme weather conditions, state occasions. This is to ensure the safety of our visitors, staff and animals.
Yearly schedule Yearly schedule1. The South American House is currently closed to the public. As renovation work begins on The South American House, please be advised there will be an increase in noise and the presence of heavy machinery around the area. As renovations progress access to the picnic benches usually located on the Gecko Plaza (between The South American House and the side of Zoorassic World) will be restricted. Visitors are welcome to use nearby picnic benches beside the Farmhouse and the entrance to Zoorassic World instead.
2. The Flamingo Habitat will be closed to customers until further notice. We apologise for any disappointment caused.
3. Cottage Orné, located to the right of the Dublin Zoo entrance and in front of the disabled parking spaces, is currently undergoing restoration works. Please be advised there will be an increase in construction noise and activity around the area.
4. From February 23rd our souvenir shop will be closed for an exciting refurbishment. We estimate this will take one to two weeks and will update this page when we have a more accurate timescale.
