This Easter, take part in a brand-new interactive trail at Dublin Zoo, with the chance to win a lifetime pass 🎟️ (T&Cs apply).

Running daily from 28 March to 12 April, follow clues around the Zoo, explore incredible habitats, and add an extra layer of adventure to your visit 🗺️

Alongside the trail, enjoy a full programme of family-friendly fun, including our Egg-citing Dino Workshop with the Nutty Professor, animal encounters, and hands-on conservation activities like Nest Fest 🦖🐦

Return of the Roar Roar Dinosaur Crew for Easter Weekends!

This Easter, something prehistoric is hatching at Dublin Zoo… 

The wildly popular Roar Roar Dinosaur Crew are BACK – bringing an unforgettable, family-friendly experience packed with dinosaurs, discovery, and Easter fun with a twist! 

Step into a world where science meets spectacle and get ready for a day filled with roaring excitement, interactive learning, and hands-on activities for all ages.

From 1:00pm – 3:30pm on these dates around the Great Lawn and Discovery & Learning Plaza, enjoy: 

  • 📸 T-Rex & Jeep Photo Booths – capture your dino-mite day 
  • 🦕 Baby Dino Petting & Feeding Zone – get hands-on with our friendly little dinos 
  • 🎮 Games with Giant Dinosaurs – interactive fun and surprises 
  • 🎧 Live DJ – keep the energy going with music and entertainment 

Egg-citing Dino Workshop with the Nutty Professor:
Bonus Ticketed Egg-sperience

Join the Nutty Professor for a fun-filled, interactive dinosaur adventure! Watch a dino egg hatch, meet and help feed baby dinosaurs, and explore extinction through live volcanic experiments.

Kids will also enjoy a hands-on fossil dig, dino-building activity, and create their own fossil to take home — all before a life-sized dinosaur makes a thrilling surprise appearance!

🐣 Nest Fest – Weekday Interactive Conservation Stations 🪺

Ready to get egg-cited? Hop over to our Nest Fest and dive into the amazing world of eggs, birds, and brilliant nests 🐦

Swing by the Penguin Habitat to:
  • Become a bird engineer and build the best nest with giant construction and tiny twigs 🪺
  • Help to heal a Humboldt at the Penguin pollution Hospital and find out how you can help to protect penguins in the wild 🏥
  • Be a cool conservationist and learn how to identify who’s who at the Dublin Zoo Penguin habitat 🐧
  • Egg-stra strong eggs – test the super strength of eggs with J-egg-ga and a host of feathery friends 🥚

It is the perfect stop for little explorers, big bird fans, and anyone who loves the magic of nature!
