Summer volunteer programme open

Want to spend your summer on the Wild Side?

Dublin Zoo Summer Camp Volunteers Required

Dublin Zoo is seeking volunteers to assist with our hugely popular kids Summer Camps. This is a unique opportunity to experience fun, educational, wildlife-themed activities in Ireland’s largest living classroom! Our camps are for 7–12 year olds, based in venues throughout the zoo.
[NOTE: there is no direct animal contact involved in the camps]

Successful applicants will have enthusiasm, energy, a passion for wildlife and the outdoors, as well as a keen interest or background in working with young people. Experience is not essential and training is provided. Summer Camp volunteers will be required to follow a timetable and camp guidelines, and will be moving between different locations throughout the zoo. Summer Camp volunteers will gain valuable experience in conservation education, leadership, youth work and knowledge of the natural world.
