Dublin Zoo Camp Facilitator
6 Week Fixed Term Contract

Dublin Zoo holds the prestigious position of being ‘Ireland’s Leading Fee Paying Family Attraction’ having welcomed in excess of 1.1 million visitors each year.


Dublin Zoo is currently seeking highly motivated facilitators to join our Zoo Summer Camps Team. This is a unique and sought after opportunity and the ideal candidate will be capable of leading and supporting various teaching sessions. 


The successful candidates will also be well-organised, energetic and creative with an ability to communicate with children of primary school age.  It is ideal for the successful candidates to have good IT skills and an understanding of zoos and natural history. 

 

This is a 6 week fixed term contract commencing Monday 8th July. The successful candidates will be required to work 30 hours per week scheduled over 5 weekdays.

DUBLIN ZOO holds the prestigious position of being ‘Ireland’s leading Fee Paying Family Attraction’ welcoming in excess of one million visitors each year.
We are currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated General Assistant, Grade One, within our Animal Care Team.
The ideal candidate will be passionate and knowledgeable about wildlife and will have the skills required to communicate this passion and knowledge directly to our visitors.  
He/she must demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of animal husbandry, diets and environmental enrichment, as well as an understanding and knowledge of research, conservation and health and safety practices.
Applicants must be over 18 years of age and have, as a minimum, a clean provisional driving licence.
