Late Night Opening & Father's Day at Dublin Zoo

This Father’s Day, Sunday June 20th, Dublin Zoo will have its first ever late night opening. To celebrate the day, fathers and their families will be able to enjoy the exciting surroundings of the Zoo until 8pm, allowing extra time to admire the animals and experience Dublin Zoo. Visitors to the Zoo can avail of face-painting, enjoy music by a DJ on the great lawn and listen to extra keeper talks. The keeper talks will highlight some of the prominent fathers in the Zoo such as Kepala, the male Sumatran tiger who is father to the tiger twins born last year and Harry the silverback gorilla, who has three offspring in the zoo plus much more! Pedal in the Park, bike festival is taking place on that same day in the Phoenix Park and Dublin Zoo will offer half price entry for anyone who is participating in the festival. To avail of this half price entry offer, get a stamp on your hand from bike festival organisers and simply show the stamp to Dublin Zoo gate staff! Make sure your dad has an extra special day this Father’s Day and bring him to Dublin Zoo. Fathers Day Keeper Talks: Special father’s day arts and crafts as well as face painting will be taking place in the Roberts House from 12pm – 3pm * Please note: bicycles will not be allowed inside the Zoo grounds. Bikes can be parked at the railings across from the front entrance of the Zoo. Bikes should be parked at owners risk and please ensure to bring a lock. |

Jacob's Family Zoo Day

Jacob’s are celebrating the launch of their new Jacobs4kids biscuits with a fun filled day out for families in Dublin Zoo! At Jacob’s Zoo Family Day, two kids will go free with every paying adult and fun is guaranteed with lots of activities for kids to enjoy. ‘Tarzan and Jane’ will be organising a scavenger hunt while there will be an entertainment marquee with face painting, games, entertainers and of course, free biscuits for kids to enjoy. Jacob’s DJ will also be there spinning some funky summer tunes.
