Píotón Burmach
The Burmese python comes from the rainforests of south-east Asia. It is one of the world’s largest snakes, up to 5.5 metres long and weighing up to 70 kilograms. It hunts at night for mammals and birds. Like all pythons, it kills by suffocation, coiling round its prey and squeezing hard. Once dead, the prey is swallowed whole.
