Roberts House
Historic Roberts house, built in 1898 to the design of L.M McDonnell – also architect of Dublin Zoos Haughton House, is one of the zoo’s finest buildings with decorative brick exterior and porches and an impressive top-lit interior with fine Victorian ironwork. Now partly a free-flying aviary, Roberts House is home to endangered bats and a colourful array of rare birds from all over the world.
