Little Tern Conservation

In 2010, Dublin Zoo provided funding for the Little Tern colony at Baltray, Co. Louth, run by the Louth Nature Trust. This colony almost became extinct for little terns but work by the Louth Nature Trust has meant that a total of 260 little tern chicks have hatch here in the past four years!
